Human Trafficking Awareness Training

Human trafficking is a hidden crime, and the first step to combating it is to identify victims so they can be rescued and help bring their perpetrators to justice. The Blue Campaign has developed awareness and training materials to help increase awareness and educate on the indicators of human trafficking.

DHS Announces Grant Guidance for Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 Preparedness Grants

Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano today announced the release of FY 2013 Funding Opportunity Announcements for eight U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) preparedness grant programs totaling over $1.5 billion to assist states, urban areas, tribal and territorial governments, non-profit agencies, and the private sector in strengthening our nation’s ability to prevent, protect, mitigate, respond to, and recover from terrorist attacks, major disasters and other emergencies in support of the National Preparedness Goal and the National Preparedness System.
