Usman Altafullah, FEMA: What is DHS' plan to reach out to the community to keep them informed on cybersecurity issues and work with them to better protect our cyber infrastructure?

Secretary Napolitano: Usman, with respect to cyber security the president has recently issued an Executive Order and a presidential policy directive. And you have to look at both and see the huge responsibilities that DHS has undertaken. We will be the lead for protecting the .gov domain, the civilian side of government, and the lead for outreach to the private sector which controls our critical infrastructure. So we will be working with all the critical infrastructure sectors on protective measures that they can undertake. We will continue to work on public education campaigns like the stop.think.connect campaign, because we want every individual who's on the net to practice good cyber security as naturally as you do putting on a seatbelt in a car. So this is an area where DHS has huge responsibilities. We have a large leadership role and we have large capacities as well.

Thank you again for your questions. I've enjoyed hearing from you today and look forward to our next session. Thanks for your service to DHS and for all that you do in support of our mission and for the American people.
