Kathleen Morgan, the Chief of Continuity and Emergency Management Programs for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) has been instrumental in establishing effective continuity and emergency preparedness capabilities for FLETC, including site-specific continuity plans and response plans to major events and disasters.
A recognized subject matter expert in the continuity and emergency management fields, Morgan regularly serves as a facilitator/agency representative for national continuity and emergency management exercises, as well as a facilitator for the State of Georgia Emergency Response exercises, to ensure that exercises are conducted successfully.
The State of Georgia Department of Defense-Military Division awarded Morgan the Georgia Commendation Medal for her coordination of two Georgia National Guard Bio-terrorism Field Training Exercises at the FLETC Headquarters.
FLETC is an interagency law enforcement training organization for 89 federal agencies, providing standardized training to support a unified homeland security effort. FLETC also provides services to state, local, tribal, and international law enforcement agencies.
