The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Ad Council are proud to announce the launching of a series of public service advertisements (PSAs) to encourage disaster preparedness. These announcements will be part of FEMA's Ready campaign, designed to educate and empower Americans to prepare for and respond to emergencies including natural and man-made disasters.

As part of this campaign, we are releasing new television, radio, outdoor and Web PSAs, emphasizing that disasters can turn a survivor's world and life "upside down", and directing them to visit www.ready.gov where tools and resources are available to help them prepare. We can prevent lives from being turned upside down by preparing for all-hazards."
