Sign Up for CAPTAP
States and urban areas can request to host a CAPTAP service by submitting a completed Technical Assistance (TA) application (PDF, 1 page - 57 KB) to FEMA/NPD’s Centralized Scheduling and Information Desk (CSID) at 1-800-368-6498 or askcsid@dhs.gov.
DHS/IP and FEMA/NPD will review applications for completeness and to ensure that all pre-requisites have been addressed.
Requests to host CAPTAP services will be scheduled on a “first-come, first-served” basis and scheduling will be based on the availability of technical assistance service providers and in accordance with Department priorities. Each state or urban area will be limited to two requests per year.
