Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS): Request a Compliance Assistance Visit
The Department of Homeland Security reaches out and offers Compliance Assistance Visits (CAV) to CFATS covered facilities. The purpose of these visits is to provide in-depth knowledge of and assistance in complying with CFATS.
To request a CAV, please send an e-mail with the following information to cscd.ieb@hq.dhs.gov:
- Point of contact name and preferred method of contact (e.g. phone number, e-mail address).
- Facility ID.
- Company name.
- Specific CFATS-related issue(s) of particular interest to the facility.
- Identify the facility's preferred location for the CAV and specify whether or not this is a CAV to be held at the headquarters of a corporation with multiple CFATS covered facilities.
- Proposed date and time for the CAV.
The Department will review and respond to each request within two weeks of its receipt.
The Department will do its best to fulfill each request and appreciates your interest in the CFATS program.
