Michael Bernacke, ICE: With a focus on immigration related issues in the public realm where do you see immigration enforcement heading in the near future?
Secretary Napolitano: Michael, I think the way that we've done immigration enforcement these past few years has been firm and it's been fair. We've focused on common-sense priorities like those who have violated criminal laws in addition to the immigration laws, those who are repeat violators, those who we find right at the border. I see that continuing. With immigration reform, I think this will increase our ability to focus our resources and our manpower on those who pose the greatest public safety risks. So we are going to continue with firm, fair enforcement under any immigration bill that passes the Congress and again we're going to continue to do it in a common-sense, law enforcement oriented way.
