Federal Support Stands Ready As Hurricane Ike Brushes Florida, Aims For Gulf Coast

The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is coordinating the preparations of its partners in federal, state, tribal and local governments as Hurricane Ike is now expected to make landfall in Texas later this week.
