Very sincere, very targeted speech. Empowers all citizens to formulate plan/s for readiness in emergencies. Calls on all to gain even the basics of survival for themselves and their communities.
As an American living in Nova Scotia I'll remain vigilant to both countries of my large family. Janet Napolitano is doing a great job, her border officials are doing a tremendous job also. I'm on most of the law enforcement mailing lists and can tell you that the talent in place as of 2009 in dealing with our threats is second to none. They and their technology is getting even better and is non intrusive given the threats around us. Your all in good hands.
