“On May 24, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano will travel to Boston to meet with Massachusetts Secretary of Public Safety and Security Andrea Cabral, Massachusetts State Police Superintendent Colonel Timothy Alben, Boston Mayor Tom Menino, Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis, members of the Massachusetts congressional delegation and other state and local officials as well as law enforcement and first responders to reiterate the Department’s on-going support and collaboration on issues including training and preparedness, as well as the need for continued information sharing at all levels of government to enhance public safety.
