Statement By Press Secretary Matt Chandler On Secretary Napolitano's Upcoming Visit To Alabama, Arkansas And Georgia

"Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano will travel to Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia on Aug. 22-23. On Monday, Aug. 22, Secretary Napolitano will join Congressman Mike Rogers to tour Auburn University's Canine Detection Training Center and participate in a media availability.  Later that day, she will travel to Little Rock, Ark. to deliver remarks to the Clinton Center, which is home to the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, as part of the Frank and Kula Kumpuris Distinguished Lecture Series.

On Tuesday, August 23, Secretary Napolitano will travel to Glynco, Ga. to join Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Director Connie Patrick and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Administrator John Pistole for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the new FLETC Intermodal Training Facility. More details on the trip will be released once they are finalized."
