Statement By Press Secretary Matt Chandler On Secretary Napolitano's Upcoming Visit To Denmark, France, And Belgium

"Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano will travel to Denmark, France, and Belgium on June 20-23. In Copenhagen, Denmark, Secretary Napolitano will join Attorney General Eric Holder and her European counterparts for the biannual U.S.-European Union (EU) Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial to discuss U.S.-EU efforts related to border management, countering violent extremism, global supply chain security, aviation security and cybersecurity.

Secretary Napolitano will travel to Paris and Brussels on June 22-23 to meet with her counterparts and discuss the Department’s collaboration with international partners on information sharing, cybersecurity, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel. More details on the trip will be released once they are finalized."
