Eighteen Sailors gave the Oath of Citizenship during a naturalization ceremony held aboard the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Essex, commanded by Capt. David Fluker, is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and is conducting operations in the Western Pacific.
