The Integrated Common Analytical Viewer, or iCAV, is a secure, web-based, geospatial visualization suite of tools that integrates commercial and government-owned data and imagery from multiple sources to help establish comprehensive situational and strategic awareness among critical infrastructure planners and stakeholders.
New Visualization Program Available for iCAV Users
The program OneView will replace iCAV as the primary visualization capability for Geospatial Information Infrastructure (GII). Users will still have access to iCAV for a limited period of time to allow them to transition to the new OneView capability, but in the near future, iCAV will be discontinued. The Department's Geospatial Management Office will notify the user community of final cutoff dates for iCAV users. OneView is now available to the Homeland Security community at https://gii.dhs.gov/oneview.
Users can access OneView with the same Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) credentials they use for iCAV. Users are required to download and install the Microsoft Silverlight 4 browser plug-in to load the OneView map viewer. Please contact your IT support desk for assistance with the Silverlight 4 plug-in. Learn more about HSIN.
OneView will provide access to the same capabilities as iCAV with a richer interface for viewing maps of critical infrastructure, natural hazards data, and other user defined data sources, as well as enhanced imagery, geocoding, and routing features.
More information is available on the GII web page.
