To support the nationwide launch of the "If You See Something, Say Something™" public awareness campaign, Secretary Janet Napolitano released a series of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) encouraging the public to contact local authorities if they see suspicious activity.

With the "If You See Something, Say Something™" campaign and the NSI help promote the concept of hometown security, progress on the goals of the two campaigns is being made. Such progress involves creating partnerships. Currently, the Department has launched "If You See Something, Say Something™" across numerous states as well as the private sector.
