  • Kenneth Freeman repeatedly molests his minor daughter and posts videos of the abuse online
  • November, 2005: Freeman is charged in Washington State, released on bond, flees U.S.
  • December, 2006: Freeman is profiled on America's Most Wanted (AMW); U.S. Marshals and ICE name him to their 'Most Wanted' lists
 
  • AMW episode leads the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) to identify Freeman as the producer of a series of pornographic videos featuring a minor child
  • Jan 24, 2007: federal grand juries in Oregon and Washington indict Freeman for transportation of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity, and sexual exploitation of children
Result    
  • ICE Attaché Beijing confirms through Chinese authorities that Freeman is in China (PRC)
  • Apr 24, 2007: ICE Attaché Beijing and Chinese Ministry of Public Safety monitor Freeman's travel to Hong Kong which still has an extradition treaty with U.S.; ICE Attaché Hong Kong alerted
  • May 2, 2007: Hong Kong police arrest Freeman
  • Freeman is returned to U.S. following extradition
