The USCG Headquarters construction operations continue with 3,500 cubic yards of concrete placed (CY) for a total of 124,500 CY placed to date. Brick work is proceeding on Building 1 with some areas completed and being washed down. Roofing installation continues on Building 1. Window and curtain wall installation is ongoing in Buildings 1 and 2. Vertical construction continues and permanent power/lighting construction started in Garages 1 and 2. Vertical construction for the central utility plant and the structure of the DOC A Block is underway. On the Phase 1B Renovation of 6 historic buildings for Adaptive Reuse, the contractor continued replacing second story, rotted, wood window lintels with steel replacements, cast the basement floor slab, and completed East & West tunnel abatements in preparation for their capping off on Building 31 (Credit Union/Coast Guard Historian). Building 33/34 (Dining Hall/Kitchen) - Started installation of first floor steel bracing and completed second floor steel bracing to support the building when second story floor is demolished.",DHS MGMT - The GSA Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) HQ Consolidation Outfitting Procurement and S1 Efficiency Initiative is on schedule for FY2011 fourth quarter award.
