These site visits served to educate vendors on CBP port operations, port conditions and the acquisition process for the planned design/build construction contracts. ","CBP: 
¥ In December, CBP plans to: 
o Award a design/build contract for the Maida, ND land port of entry. 
o Award contracts through an Interagency Agreement with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for firing range remediation at the following land ports of entry: Whitetail, MT; and Antelope Wells, NM. 
o Award a contract for five Emergency Generators for land ports of entry. 
o Award a contract for information technology support for the Program Management and Reporting System. 
o Release a Request for Proposal for Mobile Surveillance Capability units, which are mobile systems for detecting, identifying, classifying, and tracking items of interestÑproviding Border Patrol with the flexibility to rapidly fill gaps or augment the coverage of fixed surveillance assets.
o Initiate land acquisition negotiations at the following land ports of entry: Antler, ND; Carbury, ND; Sherwood, ND; Westhope, ND; and Whitetail, MT.
