"Bob Liscouski accepted the call to serve as the Department's first Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection and he has served our nation well. His leadership has provided a solid foundation for protecting our nation's critical infrastructure, and this Department will benefit from his efforts for years to come. I thank Bob for his service to our country, and wish him all the best for the future," said Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge.
Mr. Liscouski plans to leave the Department of Homeland Security in early February and return to the private sector.
