Information Technology Acquisitions

The Department of Homeland Security is establishing department-wide contracts for Information Technology (IT) services and commodities. These procurements are being conducted by the Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) in cooperation with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Component IT and procurement communities.

Competition Advocates and Task-Order and Delivery Order Ombudsman. Senior agency positions dedicated to ensuring full and open competition as part of the federal contract progress including addressing contractor concerns and complaints with the acquisition progress.

  • Eagle  - department-wide platform for acquiring IT service solutions
  • Eagle II  - services-based contracts that will enable all Department components to acquire IT support services
  • First Source  - access to a wide variety of IT commodity products

Acquisition Program Management Branch

The Acquisition Program Management Branch, a branch of the Acquisition Management & Support Division, is responsible for acquisition management oversight of the Information Technology Acquisitions procurement process for the Department of Homeland Security. It was formerly known as the Enterprise Solutions Office.
