"Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano will visit Rhode Island on Friday, April 2, to tour flood damage in affected areas and meet with state and local leaders to discuss response and recovery efforts. On Tuesday, President Obama made an emergency declaration for Rhode Island, which ordered federal aid to supplement state and local response efforts in the area. Federal Emergency Management Agency officials are currently on the ground supporting state and local responders. More details on the trip will be released once they are finalized."
