Secretary Johnson to Participate in World Refugee Day Naturalization Ceremony

WASHINGTON – In commemoration of World Refugee Day, on June 20 Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson will deliver keynote remarks and swear in new citizens at a naturalization ceremony for 20 citizenship candidates, many of them former refugees or asylees, at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. 

During the ceremony, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services New York District Director Phyllis Coven, International Rescue Committee President and CEO David Miliband, and Public Theater Artistic Director Oskar Eustis will also deliver remarks.

Secretary Johnson will deliver keynote remarks and swear in new citizens
