Tomorrow, May 26th, Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad F. Wolf will travel to Jacksonville, FL to meet with industry and local leaders as we enter into the reopening of the economy. The Acting Secretary will tour Port of Jacksonville (JAXPORT) to discuss the essential role the port plays in supply chain and economic security as commercial cargo and passenger volume increases in Florida. Following that, Acting Secretary Wolf will visit the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Station, where he will tour the facility and discuss the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Grant Program and DHS’s commitment to help first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic. On Wednesday, May 27th, the Acting Secretary will attend the launch of SpaceX Demo-2 in Cape Canaveral.
