Funded by the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate, the “Emergency Alert and Warning Systems: Current Knowledge and Future Research Directions” report explores how a more effective national alert and warning system might be created, identifies some of the gaps in our present knowledge, and sets forth a research agenda to advance the nation’s alert and warning capabilities. To learn more, join us for a webinar on Dec. 13, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. EST, hosted by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine. During the webinar, study chair Ramesh Rao will explain the key findings from the report and answer questions from the audience.
