Partner Capacity Building
Through consultations, site visits, and facilitating connections with experts in the field of targeted violence prevention, the National Threat Evaluation and Reporting (NTER) Program Office provides guidance and support to Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (F/SLTT) homeland security partners aiming to improve their processes for identifying, investigating, assessing, and managing potential threats of targeted violence.
NTER collaborates with F/SLTT partners to educate the public on a behavioral approach to violence prevention. NTER develops resources and training materials to enhance prevention capabilities across state and local agencies.
