DHS sponsors and participates in events throughout the year for chemical facility owners and operators, stakeholders, industry, law enforcement, first responders, and the community to collaborate and learn about chemical security.
These events provide a forum for attendees to learn about:
- Voluntary and regulatory programs
- Planning, preparing and responding for incidents
- Improving data management
- Sharing analysis, best practices, and lessons learned
Registration is now open for DHSChemSecurityTalks - MID and DHSChemSecurityTalks - WEST. The MID event will be held July 19 in Chicago, IL. The WEST event will be held June 27 in Oakland, CA. Date and location for the EAST event will be posted soon. To register or for additional information, please visit the Chemical Sector Regional Events webpage or email DHSChemSecurityTalks@hq.dhs.gov.
The DHSChemSecurityTalks—three, one-day regional events—serve as regional meeting places that bring together industry owners and operators, key government officials, first responders, and law enforcement to engage in face-to-face discussions and share the latest in security best practices.
Follow @NPPD on Twitter for updates on these events and the latest on protecting the Nation’s critical infrastructure.
The Summit is a networking and educational event co-sponsored by DHS and the Chemical SCC to bring together government and industry stakeholders with a shared vision to enhance our Nation’s chemical security.
The regional events are industry-wide networking and educational events that provide a forum for representatives from the chemical community to gain insights, learn, and share best practices.
