DHS Data Governance Council

The Data Governance Council is a senior-leadership governance body that will mature Enterprise Data Management across the Department.  The purpose of the Council is to strengthen the management and oversight of enterprise data to:

  • Support DHS Components’ effective and efficient mission delivery;
  • Advance integrated analytic capabilities;
  • Reduce duplicate data; and,
  • Facilitate data-informed decision making.
