DHS Law Enforcement Eligibility Requirements

The 2025 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Career Expo – Law Enforcement will focus on recruiting high-caliber talent for law enforcement, border security, immigration enforcement, and mission-critical positions across the Department. Candidates interested in law enforcement opportunities for the following Components must meet all basic conditions of employment outlined in the Eligibility document:

• U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
• Federal Protective Service (FPS)
• U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
• Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
• U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS)
• United States Secret Service (USSS)

Candidates interested in applying for the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), should plan to bring a small bag with comfortable workout attire and tennis shoes for physical fitness testing.
