I&A serves as the co-Chair of the Domestic Security Alliance Council, and serves as a technical advisor to the Overseas Security Advisory Council.

I&A’s private sector partners include industry associations such as InfraGard, ASIS International, the International Security Management Association, Business Executives for National Security, U.S. Chamber of Commerce National Security Task Force, among others.

Public-Private Analytic Exchange Program (AEP)

Each year, public and private sector subject matter experts are paired up to develop unclassified analytic deliverables of interest to the U.S. government and private sector analysts over the course of six months. DHS serves as the Executive Agent of the Public-Private Analytic Exchange Program (AEP) on behalf of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

This annual program provides an opportunity to bring together intelligence community personnel with individuals or organizations outside the intelligence community in order to explore ideas and alternative perspectives; gain insights; or generate new knowledge and recommendation on how to improve upon intelligence community priorities and further other national security goals.

Participants include U.S. Government (federal, state, and local) and private sector analysts.

This program enables government, intelligence community, and private sector analysts to gain a greater understanding of how their distinct missions can benefit from public-private collaboration on topics of mutual interest. Topic teams publish unclassified analytic deliverables which are disseminated across the government and private sector and are available to the public. Teams have been asked to present their work at various conferences and association events.

Corporate Security Symposium (CSS)

The Corporate Security Symposia are a series of regional daylong events held around the country to generate discussion among public and private sector partners on some of the most challenging issues our nation faces today. These symposia focus on topics that are critical to our national security; they feature prominent speakers from both the public sector and the private sector who shed light on how to best leverage corporate security efforts and analytic capabilities to address issues such as terrorism, insider threat, cyber security, critical infrastructure protection, and other national security challenges.

The Corporate Security Symposia provide a forum for public and private sector partners to discuss current and emerging security threats relevant to their regions. These events provide opportunities to forge new relationships and strengthen existing ones to foster mutual success in mitigating threats.

The Corporate Security Symposia are primarily intended for private sector security executives; however federal, state, and local government representatives, first responders, and other homeland security personnel are also invited to attend and participate. Each Symposium’s topics and speakers are tailored to the needs of the regional audience.

The Corporate Security Symposia are held in coordination with the Domestic Security Alliance Council, state and local governments, and private sector partners.
