Secretary of Homeland Security John F. Kelly today joined President Donald J. Trump at the Armed Forces Full Honor Wreath Ceremony for the 2017 National Memorial Day Observance at Arlington National Cemetery to honor America's fallen military service members. The U.S. Army Military District of Washington conducted a Presidential Armed Forces Full Honors Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This was followed by an observance program hosted by the Department of Defense in the cemetery's Memorial Amphitheater.

On May 22nd, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) held its 30th annual ceremony honoring FLETC basic academy graduates and local area law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
