ICE is proposing to enter into a contract for a Contract Detention Facility within the Detroit Area of Responsibility (AOR) to meet the AOR’s needs for detention space. The current ICE detention system consists of ICE-owned service processing centers (SPCs); inter-governmental service agreements with local, state, and U.S. Department of Justice facilities; and contract detention facilities.
P25 CAP provides the public with an opportunity to review and comment on Compliance Assessment Bulletins and reporting templates before they are finalized and published. These tables outline comments that were submitted to DHS S&T, along with a response to each comment.
DHS S&T announced the release of two Project 25 (P25) Compliance Assessment Program (CAP) draft Compliance Assessment Bulletins (CAB) for review and comment. The draft CABs are available for public comment through July 19, 2019, and they address P25 CAP compliance testing.
The deadline for submitting comments on the Project 25 Compliance Assessment Program draft Compliance Assessment Bulletin has been extended to March 31.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) Office for Interoperability and Compatibility (OIC) continues its efforts to streamline the Suppliers’ Declaration of Compliance (SDOC) and Summary Test Report (STR) templates in an effort to make P25 CAP documentation more useful to end users as well as reduce the burden on manufacturers and P25 CAP recognized laboratories.
