On October 23, 2014 Secretary Jeh Johnson awarded the Secretary’s Award for Excellence 2014 to the DHS Veterans Employment Coordinators Team, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Management Directorate (MGMT), U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), U.S. Secret Service (USSS), National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD), and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), for significantly enhancing veterans hiring across the Department, while also being recognized as a leader in these efforts across the federal government. The DHS Veterans Employment Coordinators Team is comprised of Joseph Arata (ICE), Ginny Berry (MGMT), Shelly Campbell (USCG), Shirelle Green (MGMT), Jeffrey Jack (CBP), Darrett Lomax (TSA), Nimesh Patel (MGMT), Sean Robinson (MGMT), Cindee Smith (USCIS), Gina Street (OIG), Jacqueline Thomas (USSS), David E.
