The scope of training includes bomb threat preparedness, hazardous materials awareness, crisis standards of care, and much more.

Community Oriented Policing Services Hiring Program
This grant program provides funds directly to law enforcement agencies for additional career law enforcement officers to increase community policing capacity. Applicants receive additional consideration for focusing community policing efforts on "Combatting Hate and Domestic Extremism", and/or seeking support for programs to identify and prevent the radicalization of applicants and personnel who endorse violent and hateful extremist movements.

Federal Protections Against National Origin Discrimination
This U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) resource explains that laws prohibiting national origin discrimination make it illegal to discriminate because of a person's birthplace, ancestry, culture or language. This means people cannot be denied equal opportunity because they or their family are from another country, because they have a name or accent associated with a national origin group, because they participate in certain customs associated with a national origin group, or because they are married to or associate with people of a certain national origin.

The Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division (CRT) and Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) enforce federal civil rights laws in public and federally funded schools at all educational levels. Foundations of Targeted Violence Prevention Training
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Intelligence and Analysis, National Threat Evaluation and Reporting (NTER) Office has partnered with the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to release an eLearning module for the public titled, “Foundations of Targeted Violence Prevention."
This approximately 1 hour eLearning aims to educate the public on threatening or potentially concerning behaviors and where to report them, providing an opportunity for intervention to prevent targeted violence from occurring. It seeks to assist in preventing targeted violence by empowering community members to: recognize threats or potentially concerning behaviors; understand what behaviors may be displayed by a person who is on a pathway to violence; learn where to report information of concern; and understand how the information reported will be used to keep our community safe.

Department of the Treasury Domestic Violent Extremism Financing Resources
The Domestic Violent Extremism (DVE) landing page is a collection of reports and assessments on DVE activity that serve as a resource for private and public sector entities seeking to develop an understanding of DVEs, their foreign counterparts, and associated financial activity. The resources are intended to enhance the identification and analysis of financial activity associated with domestic terrorists and their foreign counterparts, as well as enhancing engagement with financial institutions on domestic terrorist financing. Financial institutions in particular may use these in developing their financial crime risk assessments or enhancing their own Anti Money Laundering /Counter Terrorist Financing monitoring systems. They can also support federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement in analyzing DVE financial activity in their investigations, and other government and non-government organizations that are supporting a range of terrorism and violence prevention efforts.

U.S. Secret Service Threat Assessment Training
The U.S. Secret Service’s (USSS) National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC) conducts training on threat assessments and the prevention of targeted violence. Law enforcement and public safety stakeholders are encouraged to leverage training and the free resources on the NTAC website. These resources examine attacks against government facilities and personnel, law enforcement, K-12 schools, colleges/universities, workplaces, and mass attacks in public spaces.
