DHS S&T and Central United States Earthquake Consortium (CUSEC) Partnership Promotes Community Resilience Fact Sheet

According to the United States Geological Survey, there is a 25-40 percent probability for an earthquake in the central United States of magnitude 6.0 or greater in any 50 year time period. Taking proactive risk reduction measures may reduce the devastating impact of another large earthquake.
