Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Federation System Checklist

Body

The Public Safety Communications (PSC) Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Working Group (WG) created a Federation System checklist to provide tips on how to approach data management practices, interoperability techniques, and cybersecurity challenges for the Public Safety Community (Community). This document serves as an educational piece on how to assess and manage an organization’s systems to prepare it for information sharing with outside organizations. By focusing on a multifactor authentication approach, this document will assist state, local, tribal and territorial (SLTT) Public Safety Community (Community) entities in improving the security posture of their systems for safe and secure information sharing.
