The Department of Homeland Security welcomes all eligible entities to apply to the TVTP Grant Program. DHS seeks new applicants each year, including those new to DHS or federal grants and those from historically disadvantaged and marginalized communities. The resources on this page are provided to help applicants navigate the application process and develop a competitive application. CP3 held webinars for prospective applicants for the FY2024 TVTP Grant Program in February. The presentation covered a general overview of the program, the types of projects funded, resources that applicants can leverage to complete their applications, and an opportunity to ask questions. A recording of the webinar will be published to the website as soon as it is available.
Eligible Applicants
U.S. state, local, tribal, and territorial government agencies, institutions of higher education, and nonprofits.
The TVTP Grant Program funds the development of capabilities based on current promising practices as well as reserves approximately 25-30% of available funding for new or innovative approaches to prevention.
