The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acquisition Regulation is issued for Departmental guidance according to the policy cited in the Federal Acquisition Regulation 48 Code of Federal Regulations 1.301. The regulation establishes uniform DHS policies and procedures for all acquisition activities within the DHS. The regulation is issued by the Chief Procurement Officer who is the DHS Senior Procurement Executive. The regulation is codified at 48 CFR Chapter 30.
The Private Sector Resources Catalog, originally released in May 2010, centralizes access to all DHS resources targeted for the private sector including small and large businesses, academia, trade associations, and other non-governmental organizations.
