  • OIDO Inspection Reports

    Pursuant to its statutory responsibilities, the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Immigration Detention Ombudsman conducts announced and unannounced inspections of detention facilities. 

  • DHS/ICE/PIA-061 Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) Surveillance Technologies

    The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), deploys surveillance technologies in furtherance of its criminal investigations and national security missions. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is conducting this Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) to document Homeland Security Investigations’ privacy protections when using the following surveillance technologies: a) body wire; b) location tracking technology; c) cell-site simulators; d) small unmanned aircraft systems; e) license plate readers and commercial license plate reader data services; and f) video surveillance technology.

  • KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) Help Desk

    As part of the U.S. government’s efforts to reunite families that were unjustly separated at the U.S.-Mexico border, the following are one-page flyers describing the Help Desk that the non-profit organization Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) has established. Families that believe they may be eligible can contact the Help Desk with questions about reunification and for assistance with registration. Help Desk information and assistance is free.

    As part of the department’s efforts to reunite families that were unjustly separated at the U.S.-Mexico border, the following are one-page posters describing mental health services provided by Seneca that qualified families may be eligible to receive.

  • Family Reunification Task Force - Translations

    The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to the safe reunification of families that were unjustly separated at the U.S.-Mexico border. The Task Force is identifying and implementing comprehensive strategies that will bring families back together and ensure that the children and parents who were intentionally separated from each other are provided support.

  • Final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for El Paso Service Processing Center

    ICE has prepared this Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 (42 United States Code [U.S.C.] 4321 et seq.) and other relevant federal and state laws and regulations, as well as DHS Directive 023-01, Revision 01 and DHS Instruction Manual 023-01-001-01, Revison 01, Implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act. This Draft EA discloses the environmental impacts that would result from the Proposed Action and alternatives.
