Building Local Prevention Frameworks
The Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3) seeks to prevent acts of targeted violence and terrorism by working with the whole of society to establish and expand local prevention frameworks. Through technical, financial, and educational assistance, CP3 supports local efforts that prevent individuals from radicalizing to violence and intervene with individuals who may be radicalizing, or have radicalized, to violence.

The Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (CP3) provides a resource that gives an overview of threat assessment and management teams. Through identifying and managing potential threats, these teams provide alternatives to investigation and/or prosecution for bystanders who are actively seeking intervention assistance with a known individual at risk of mobilizing to violence.

DHS TRIP uses an online form that you complete using your computer and an Internet connection.
