Administration and Support

The Administration and Support Division (ASD) provides the right people, technology, property, security and processes to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate's (S&T) needs. ASD sustains consistent, high-quality customer service that is unsurpassed in professionalism and promptness through personal accountability and commitment.

ASD Goals

  • Service Delivery – Demonstrate customer-focused support services to help advance of S&T’s mission and goals by providing employees with increased availability, accessibility and quality of resources, information and technology, allowing them to perform their jobs more efficiently and safely.
  • Process Improvement – Develop, implement and improve ASD processes and administrative services that support S&T and deliver high-value solutions to S&T’s customers by shortening approval cycles, reducing administrative overheads and effectively controlling and expediting requests.
  • Optimize Resources – Strategically manage human, financial, technical and information resource programs to enable S&T’s mission and goals by collaborating across DHS and optimizing resources through responsible stewardship to ensure lean, affordable and sustainable support while remaining flexible as S&T responds to the changing threat environment.
