AP Welcomes Two New Members
Feb. 21, 2019 -- P25 CAP is pleased to welcome two new members to the Advisory Panel.
Red Grasso is the Director for the First Responder Emerging Technologies Program with the North Carolina Department of Information Technology. He brings firsthand experience of using public safety communications as a firefighter, and helped launch a P25 radio system for St. Louis County, Missouri, as well as FirstNet for the State of North Carolina.
Eric Dye is the Client Engineering Chief of the State of California’s Public Safety Communications. His group meets all the radio needs for the State of California’s public safety community, and his years as a telecommunications engineer involves proficiency in the P25 testing and reporting process.
With the addition of these two members, the P25 CAP looks forward to another productive year with the AP as we navigate communications interoperability challenges and solutions for the public safety community.
Upcoming Advisory Panel Meeting Information
Advisory Panel Meeting at IWCE 2019
The next P25 CAP AP meeting will be held in conjunction with the upcoming International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) 2019 in Las Vegas, NV. The AP meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 5 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. PST at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Room N240. The meeting is open to industry, public safety and interested IWCE attendees.
