Battling the Invisible Enemy at the National Atomic Testing Museum

The exhibit highlights S&T’s overall contributions to the nation’s coronavirus response, as well as the ongoing COVID-19 research conducted by the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBACC).

NBACC is one-of-a-kind biocontainment lab with specialized equipment and a BSL-4 security level. Scientists have been working tirelessly to learn everything they can about the virus known as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and study related environmental impacts.
