DHS's Focus on Combatting Human Traffic

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) places significant emphasis on addressing the complexities and national significance of various forms of human trafficking, including sex trafficking, labor trafficking, and child sexual exploitation. Acknowledging the evolving nature of these crimes, the DHS Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) conducted an extensive assessment encompassing these distinct forms of trafficking, evaluating ongoing and future research efforts within the United States.
