Master Question List for Ebolaviruses

Body

The following Master Question List (MQL) was developed by the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate to provide government decision makers with up-to-date information that will enable them to appropriately respond to outbreaks caused by ebolaviruses. This MQL summarizes what is known and what knowledge gaps exist to address fundamental questions such as, “What is the infectious dose?” and “How long does the virus persist in the environment?” The information provided is a succinct summary to facilitate structured and scientifically guided discussions across the federal government without burdening them with the need to review scientific reports, and to prevent duplication of efforts by highlighting and coordinating research.
