Technology and Innovation Exchanges (TIES)

TIES. Technology Innovation Exchanges Innovation is the driving force behind the work of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T)—the research and development arm of the Department. To deliver the best technology solutions to DHS’s end-users and operators, building and sustaining relationships with industry and innovation communities is essential.

The Technology and Innovation Exchanges (TIES) are a series of nation-wide collaborative events designed to engage, develop and foster relationships while educating innovator communities about DHS’ vast mission, homeland security challenges, and specific component operational needs. During these engagements innovators will have the opportunity to hear from S&T’s component partners and operational experts on a specific homeland security challenge, informing stakeholders of current activities, research and development needs, and areas that intersect with the private sector.

Currently, there are no scheduled TIES events. For more information on these engagements and other S&T events visit this page and the S&T events page. Also, visit our Work with S&T page to learn how to work with us.
