March brings three opportunities for innovators, partners and stakeholders to connect with DHS S&T.
DHS S&T recently completed the integration of more than 9,700 real-world software test cases from the Static Tools Analysis Modernization Project (STAMP) into the Software Assurance Market Place (SWAMP).
The Office of Mission and Capability Support works with DHS operational Components, first responders at all levels of government, emergency management personnel, public safety organizations, and other homeland security organizations to define priorities, gaps and requirements to find or develop technology solutions.
Exercise Starter Kits are a set of tools and resources for the academic community to self-conduct a tabletop exercise (TTX).
This Leadership Tabletop Exercise Cybersecurity Overview and Resource Guide provides members of the academic community with a summary of the format and structure of the pilot LTTX event, hosted by the North Dakota University System, as a model for initiating critical conversations with campus leadership on their roles in preparedness for, response to, and recovery from campus emergencies.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), in coordination with North Dakota University System (NDUS) and Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE), convened a pilot Leadership Tabletop Exercise for Institutions of Higher Education (LTTX) on Feb. 7, 2018, in Bismarck, North Dakota.
DHS S&T awarded a total of $5,643,466 across seven organizations to develop new tools to arm researchers with the latest insight and an increased collection of cybersecurity incident data to understand and counter cyber attacks.
This exercise is a part of a two-day event including seminars/workshops and a tabletop exercise (TTX) geared toward examining issues related to cybersecurity impacting physical infrastructure systems on college and university campuses. The TTX portion of the event consists of a scenario-driven, facilitated discussion and is designed to examine roles, responsibilities, authorities, and capabilities to enhance the resilience of institutions of higher education.
S&T conducts and supports research, development, test and evaluation, and the transition of advanced cybersecurity and information assurance technologies to secure the nation’s current and future cyber and critical infrastructures.
DHS S&T has awarded a $750,000 contract to El Segundo, California-based InferLink Corporation to develop an advanced search functionality for the Information Marketplace for Policy and Analysis of Cyber-risk & Trust (IMPACT) cybersecurity research portal.
