On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, Donovan Puffer made his way to the Emergency Support Team office (now known as the National Response Coordination Center).  “It was constant problem solving,” said Donovan, recounting that morning and his work to coordinate response efforts.  “Which is really at the heart of what emergency managers and FEMA/Released does.”
