Master Trainer Certification Roadmap
The National Threat Evaluation and Reporting (NTER) Program Office's Master Trainer Program certifies Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial partners in the instruction of Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management techniques and best practices.
To obtain certification as an NTER Master Trainer, candidates must successfully complete each step of the Roadmap.
Note: Roadmap steps can be completed in any order.
**This updated Master Trainer Certification Roadmap applies to everyone onboarding to the Master Trainer Program AFTER August 2023**
Annual Re-Certification Requirements
To maintain certification, a Certified Master Trainers must:
- Teach at least 4 TERC Training Suite courses per year
- Attend at least 2 NTER-led webinars or presentations per year
- Submit an Annual Master Trainer Training Plan
