There is no more important day of the year than Veterans Day. It is the day when we pay tribute to those who have served in our Armed Forces, including those who sacrificed their lives for our country.
We have more than 53,000 veterans serving in our Department. That is one of the qualities that make us great.
We honor the veterans, past and present, through the work we perform every day. Thank you for your work in the service of our country.
I hope you will take some time on or around Veterans Day to pay tribute to our veterans and to reflect on the meaning of our work.
