The Department is hiring qualified military spouses to fill various Department of Homeland Security positions. To be considered, applicants must meet one of the three military spouse hiring authority eligibility requirements as well as the qualifications for the position. Job opportunity announcements will be open from May 25 to June 2, 2023. Once the announcements close, the Department will invite qualified individuals to interview with an agency representative.
You are eligible to apply if you are:
- The spouse of an active duty member of the armed forces;
- The spouse of a service member who is 100% disabled due to a service-connected injury; or
- The spouse of a service member killed while on active duty.
